Saturday, September 20, 2008  - The Subway Big Dig     

Dubbed a "Construction Theme Park," the event will allow children a a hands-on experience with construction equipment.  The Big Dig will include rides on over 40 pieces of giant constructin equipment including wheel loaders, bull dozers, front loaders, excavators, and more.  Also included are K-9 demonstrations, military vehicle displays, fire-fighting equipment, face painting, making cement handprints, digging for treasures in a ton of sand, safety demonstrations, meeting Smokey the Bear, fingerprint identification, and plenty of food and drink. 

$5 theme park admission, and $5 per ride ticket.

Thursday, September 18, 2008 - The Blanchard CAT Big Dig Dinner                                             

A formal, blue jean affair.  Adults and sponsors try their hands on the construction equipment, as well as enjoy a night of dinner, drinks, music, and a silent and live auction.

$50 per dinner ticket

Proceeds from the Big Dig benefit Goodwill Foundation in their efforts to provide for families in need.
